The office refurbishment department of the constructing company Antana has completed the renovation of communal areas and utilities in an office block, situated in the Barrio de Salamanca in Madrid.
The works on the communal areas focussed on the finishes at the access landings on each floor and at the main access point, substituting marble and phenolic wood panels for granite and cherry wood. Furthermore, communal bathrooms were refurbished: we increased their size and replaced the toilets.
Regarding utilities, the project involved work on the drainpipes, heating systems and electrical systems (both PCI and telecommunications). One of the aims of the renovation of the utilities was to improve the building’s energy efficiency. To achieve this, we installed more efficient heating systems, movement sensors and energy-efficient lighting.
