Antana has recently completed the design and construction of four offices located in the South Network of the Madrid Metro.
These offices will be used to provide general information on the new Public Transport Card (TTP) to Metro de Madrid users, to process applications and even to issue cards.
The solution adopted consisted of the installation of steel structure modules with a rectangular floor plan, measuring 3.80 x 5.00 m. and a height of 2.60 m., with three of the sides in glass and the remaining quarter in plasterboard. The air conditioning and the voice and data networks have been installed in a coordinated manner and integrated into the general Metro networks. Antana was also responsible for installing the vinyls and furniture for the stands.
Most of the work was carried out at night so as not to interrupt the service and to minimise inconvenience to users.
