The hotel is located in the town of Lastres, Asturias, and is considered one of the most emblematic hotels in the area. It is a five-star hotel that belongs to the Relais&Châteaux collection.
Architecturally, the hotel is made up of several buildings, the most representative of which is the Palace House dating from the 16th century. The rest are contemporary style buildings in which most of the rooms, restaurant areas and wellness area are located.
Antana has been in charge of the drafting of the architectural project, the processing of the licence and the execution of the work. The interior design project has been drawn up by the studio Singular Project. With this refurbishment, the owner pursues the dual objective of updating the facilities and finishes of the old palace and raising the level of quality and services of the hotel.
The work has been contracted through the "Open Books" system , with work being awarded to both local and national companies. The refurbishment is comprehensive, covering the restoration of the façades and roofs of the buildings; the renovation of the installations and interior finishes and the replacement of the hot water, air conditioning and heating systems, with the aim of improving the hotel's energy efficiency. The work has been planned in two phases, with a total duration of 9 months.
