Last March we covered the waters in the restoration work of a building in Madrid's Jerónimos district. It is a building from the beginning of the last century that is being refurbished for its new use as offices of the highest level, both for the performance of its facilities and for the quality of its finishes.
The refurbishment of the building is comprehensive and includes:
-
- Reinforcement of foundations, structure and floor slabs
- Construction of new plant
- New roof
- New facilities
- Finishes
The work is progressing well despite the difficulties involved in the rehabilitation of historic buildings of this type. The demolition and structural phases have been completed, the installations are well advanced and the restoration of the historic elements will be completed in four to five weeks. Also, having covered water, the finishing phase has been able to begin.
All Antana staff involved in this project have extensive experience in the renovation of historic buildings and a high level of architectural sensitivity.
In future posts we will be telling you how this work is progressing and sharing photos and experiences.
