Antana has been awarded the construction of the sixth Impact Hub coworking space at 10 Javier Ferrero Street next to Berlin Park (Madrid), one of the areas that is receiving one of the biggest transformations in the capital.
The project, the work of the Churtichaga Quadra-Salcedo architectural studio, contemplates the comprehensive refurbishment of the building with two floors below ground level, a semi-basement, a ground floor and five upper floors with a total surface area of 3,350 square metres. The project consists of an interior refurbishment affecting the distribution, modernisation of installations, façade and roof repair with the aim of adapting the facilities to a more collaborative use and incorporating community work spaces.
The building is located between Calle Javier Ferrero and Calle Sánchez Pacheco in the heart of the Prosperidad neighbourhood, an area of the capital that has been the focus of numerous building renovations.
This new space is the culmination of the company's expansion plan to consolidate 12,000 square metres of coworking space by the end of 2019.
